{"id":556,"date":"2024-10-22T10:51:04","date_gmt":"2024-10-22T09:51:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pocklingtondistrictscouts.org.uk\/index.php\/?page_id=556"},"modified":"2026-04-20T16:34:29","modified_gmt":"2026-04-20T15:34:29","slug":"pocklington-district-team-structure","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.pocklingtondistrictscouts.org.uk\/index.php\/pocklington-district-team-structure\/","title":{"rendered":"Pocklington District Team Structure"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pocklington District Leadership team is made of a small number of people who dedicate their time to scouting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">District Lead Volunteer:  Richard Chapman<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The District Lead volunteer manages both the District Team and along side the Group Trustee boards oversees governance of each Scout Group in the District.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">District Youth Leads:  James Tyndall &amp; Lucy Chapman<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The district Youth Leads help ensure that our youth members are part of the leadership of the District and Groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Program Team Lead: Peter Kirby<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program team run the events put on by District,  Typically they are things like St Georges Day, and the Incident Hike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Chair:  Vacancy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Chair leads the Trustee Board and the recruitment for new trustees. They objectively chair the Trustee Board meetings and the Annual General Meeting, set the meeting agenda and plan its schedule. They\u2019ll make sure that all Trustees are properly trained and understand their own responsibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Treasurer: Vacancy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Treasurer looks after finances and makes sure the financial documentation (such as budgets and accounts) is kept. They make sure the Annual Statement of Accounts gets done in time for the Annual General Meeting and keep track of the independent examination process. They also share details about income and spend with other trustees and draw up policies on finance and investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Trustee Board:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The trustee board is made up of Ex-Officio trustees (Chair, Treasurer, Lead Volunteer, and Youth Leads) and other trustees.
